Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (OINP)
Build Your Future in Ontario Through the Ontario PNP
Looking to live and work permanently in Ontario? The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) provides eligible foreign workers with pathways toward Canadian permanent residence based on their skills, work experience, education, job offer, and other qualifications.
At G Square Immigration, we help you understand the Ontario PNP options available to you, assess your eligibility, prepare your documents, and guide you through the provincial nomination and permanent residence process.
What Is the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program?
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is Ontario’s provincial immigration program that allows the province to nominate eligible foreign nationals for permanent residence in Canada.
OINP pathways can target skilled workers, international graduates, and individuals with qualifying employment or other characteristics that support Ontario’s labour market needs.
Ontario’s immigration programs and eligibility requirements can change over time. The current OINP structure should always be reviewed before submitting an application.
Who May Be Eligible for Ontario PNP?
Skilled Workers
Skilled foreign workers with qualifying work experience, education, language ability, and employment may be eligible for an Ontario immigration pathway.
International Graduates
Eligible international graduates with qualifying Canadian education and employment may have access to applicable Ontario immigration pathways.
Workers With a Qualifying Job Offer
Some Ontario PNP pathways are designed for applicants with a qualifying job offer from an eligible Ontario employer.
Express Entry Candidates
Eligible candidates in the federal Express Entry pool may be considered for Ontario nomination through applicable Express Entry-linked pathways when Ontario issues invitations.
How Does Ontario PNP Work?

Assess Your Eligibility
We review your education, work experience, language ability, job offer, immigration status, and other relevant factors.

Identify the Suitable OINP Pathway
Ontario has different immigration pathways with different requirements. We help determine which current pathway may be appropriate for your profile.

Register an Expression of Interest or Enter Express Entry
Depending on the pathway, you may need to register an Expression of Interest (EOI) or have an eligible Express Entry profile before being considered.

Receive an Invitation or Notification
If Ontario selects your profile, you may receive an Invitation to Apply or Notification of Interest, depending on the applicable stream.

Submit Your OINP Application
We help prepare the required documents and submit your provincial nomination application within the applicable deadline.

Apply for Permanent Residence
If Ontario nominates you, you can proceed with the applicable permanent residence process through IRCC.
